There are two covers we provide as you can see metal or lexan which both have a 350 pound weight capacity. The metal covers provide the painted look which is a powder coating to keep rust at a minimum and it has the holes about the size of the tip of a index finger this allows the homeowner to get ventilation while the cover is in place. The lexan product has the smooth obscure finish that impairs the vision looking in and the solid feature to hinder rain and snow as well as other smaller things from getting into your window wells. both have a gaurantee the metal has a five-

 year from major rusting and the lexan has a ten year from discoloring and cracking. Of course the metal cover will last many years, the structural aspect of the metal cover will last twenty-five years or more.
